TRACE project: first inspection visit held for the preliminary assessment

On Friday 17 July 2026, the first inspection visit for the preliminary assessment of the TRACE project took place at the premises of Zschimmer & Schwarz Ceramco. The Scientific and Technical Expert from CNR-ISSMC and the managing body Mediocredito Centrale discussed the technical and administrative aspects of the proposal with the Steering Committee, providing useful guidance for additions and adjustments to the project.

Innovation Agreements: funding application for the TRACE project submitted to the Ministry

On Tuesday 17 February 2026, the funding application for the TRACE project was submitted to the Italian Ministry of Enterprises and Made in Italy under the Innovation Agreements programme (Ministerial Decree of 4 September 2025). The joint application by Zschimmer & Schwarz Ceramco (lead partner), Gruppo Ceramiche Gresmalt, Sibelco Italia, the University of Calabria and the University of Palermo, accompanied by the technical dossier, the development plan and the Partnership Agreement, officially starts the project evaluation process.
